This video is about the Alka-Seltzer lava lamp lab, and what happened when I performed the lab. Also, it simulates what happens in a real lava lamp.

This is my explanation of all the commonents of a diy lab where we made a miniature lava lamp.

In class we are learning about how science around us works, And in class we created a lava lamp and we looked at different types of chemicals and liquids that we use somewhat daily to create an lava lamp.

This video is all about the science behind a lava lamp. It explains the difference between the two mixtures in the experiment and the factors to create the lava lamp. Overall, it shows how a lava lamp works.

During science class this unit, we explored what happens when you place a tab of Alka-Seltzer into an oil and water mixture. This experiment is a prime example of how one compound can create a whole mixture. Overall, this experiment showed how behind every little thing, whether it be the snow outside or a lava lamp, is related to science.

I have explained some vocab words we have learned in class including in heterogeneous, homogeneous, and what elements are included in this process. It also has a good amount of videos and picture while going through the process of doing the lava lamp lab. I hope you like my video.

Entering into our new unit of Molecules and Compounds, in Science we did a lab all about lava lamps. Within this lab we got to see many types of mixtures as well as physical and chemical changes. Hopefully after watching this video you will understand the science behind this experiment and why it was not only fun but also very relevant to our new unit.

I made a DIY lava lamp today using materials you can find around the house. Be sure to watch the oil and water mix when the Alka-Seltzer gets added.

Mrs. Odden's Core 4 class did an experiment, to create a Lava Lamp with vegetable oil, dye, a water bottle, water, a funnel, and an Alka Seltzer tablet. Later, she assigned us to create an explanation of this lab using previous and present knowledge from compounds, all the way to matter.
